Aladdin has a wealth of resources available to our guests, including the expert guidance of a registered dietitian. Arrangements can be made for individual consultations concerning any dietary need, such as sports nutrition, weight control, food allergies, or medically prescribed diets.
THE KITCHEN@CapU
Aladdin takes great care in the selection and preparation of the foods served in THE KITCHEN@CapU! Our goal is to ensure every students safety!
Aladdin make every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies, and all food in THE KITCHEN@CapU will be labeled for possible allergen-causing ingredients. However, there is always a risk of contamination through the shared storage, equipment, flatware or through the manufacturer supply chain. If you have concerns regarding a food allergy or intolerance, please speak with a dining services manager.
Aladdin strives to ensure everyone has the options to choose a well-balanced nutritious meal. In collaboration with Capital University, we are equipped to accommodate students and guests who have allergies, celiac disease, gluten intolerance or other special dietary needs.
THE KITCHEN@CapU offers an allergen friendly action station where food is prepared to order by trained staff to prevent cross-contact with allergen containing products. Gluten-free products are available in THE KITCHEN for individuals requiring products made without gluten. Even though food items are stored separately in this area and dedicated equipment, utensils and a dishwasher are used to minimize cross-contact, it does not totally eliminate the possibility of cross-contact with allergen containing foods and equipment. To ensure allergen and gluten safety, Aladdin Managers and Chefs complete the ServSafe Allergen training and all staff receiving training on an annual basis. Please schedule a meeting with the Director of Dining Services at the beginning of school to review your dietary needs.
